What Baibai Is

Baibai is a blessing, ritual, tarot-style reflection, fortune-stick, daily persona, daily check-in, and self-reflection app. Its content is for entertainment and self-reflection only. Baibai does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, religious, spiritual authority, or other professional advice, and it does not guarantee real-world outcomes.

Information Connected to Your Account

• Authentication information, such as your Supabase user ID, login provider, account status, creation time, and email address when available from Apple, Google, or email sign-in.
• Profile information you choose to enter in the app, such as display name, bio, birthday, profile email, phone number, language, membership status, and avatar image URI stored on your device.
• App activity and records, such as blessing rituals, wishes, favorites, tarot-style reflection records, fortune-stick records, daily persona unlock state, check-in progress, make-up/check-in rewards, backpack items, premium reading unlocks, and draw entitlement state.
• Purchase and entitlement information, such as product IDs, product type, platform, purchase status, purchase time, consumed time, membership state, non-consumable entitlements, and restore-purchase results.

Local Device Storage

Baibai uses local storage on your device, including AsyncStorage and persisted app state, to keep you signed in, remember settings, save local profile details, avatar URI, wishes, favorites, history, check-in progress, daily persona state, backpack items, purchase records, and entitlement state. Supabase Auth sessions are also persisted locally so the app can keep you signed in.

Backend, Sync, and Account Records

Baibai uses Supabase for authentication, backend services, database storage, and the account deletion function. When you are signed in, some app records may sync to Supabase, including blessing records, tarot and fortune-stick divination records, wishes, favorites, check-in progress, purchase records, and entitlement status. Some data may remain local-only depending on the feature and build.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Baibai includes product and entitlement logic for consumables, non-consumables, subscriptions, membership, and restore purchases. Where paid digital content is offered on iOS, payments are handled by Apple In-App Purchase. Baibai does not directly collect or store full payment card details. The app may store purchase records and entitlement status locally and, when signed in, may sync entitlement status to Supabase. Apple may process payment, subscription, refund, and transaction information under its own policies.

Advertising

Baibai uses Google Mobile Ads / AdMob for optional ad-supported experiences, including rewarded ads for tarot, fortune-stick, blessing, and check-in make-up flows. The code also includes interstitial ad configuration for future or reserved placements. The current ad strategy requests non-personalized ads and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. Google may process advertising, device, and interaction data according to its own policies.

Device Features and Diagnostics

The app asks for photo library access only when you choose to change your avatar. The fortune-stick experience uses device motion through the accelerometer for shake-to-draw. We did not find app code that uses location, contacts, camera capture, microphone recording, third-party analytics, Sentry, Firebase Analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. The app and third-party SDKs may still generate basic device, diagnostics, and operational information needed to run, secure, debug, and improve the service.

Share Cards

Baibai can generate share-card images locally using on-device rendering. Share payloads are intentionally limited to public, share-safe fields and exclude premium-only detailed interpretations. The app uses the device share sheet, so sharing is user-controlled. We did not find code that uploads generated share-card images to Baibai servers.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide sign-in, maintain app records, sync signed-in activity, operate check-ins and rewards, remember settings, deliver and restore entitlements, show optional ads where enabled, support account deletion, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and maintain app security and reliability.

Third-Party Services

Baibai uses Supabase for authentication, backend services, database storage, and account deletion; Apple services for Sign in with Apple and, where paid content is offered on iOS, Apple In-App Purchase; Google services for Google Sign-In through Supabase OAuth and Google AdMob advertising; and React Native / Expo libraries for app features such as local storage, image picking, motion, video, and share-card rendering.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our terms. You can request account deletion inside the app from Settings > Account > Delete Account. The deletion flow calls a Supabase Edge Function that deletes app-owned user rows and then deletes the Supabase Auth identity before the app clears local account state and signs you out.

Some records may be retained where legally required or reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, accounting, payment, tax, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or compliance. Deleting your Baibai account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.

Your Choices and Rights

You can choose whether to sign in, edit profile fields, grant photo library access for avatars, use ad-supported rewards, restore purchases, share generated cards, or delete your account. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain uses. Contact us at baibai.support@gmail.com.

Children, International Users, and Security

Baibai is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request. Baibai is prepared first for the United States iOS App Store and may later be made available in China or other regions. Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no app, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
